AAA Winter Season
Madison Capitols AAA offers a unique player experience, where players have the opportunity to play against some of the best players across North America. The commitment to AAA hockey requires being on the ice 3-6 days per week (depending on the age level), extensive travel, and a larger financial commitment than our association fees.
Most AAA teams will play anywhere from 45-65 games each season and the nationals eligible teams may play additional games at WAHA Tier 1 State, USA Hockey Central District Regionals, and the USA Hockey National Championships.
All AAA teams have a minimum of 2 full-ice, individual team practices every week. In addition to teams practices, our goalies will have the opportunity to work with our goaltending coach in on-ice goalie specific sessions. Teams will have the opportunity to have on-ice skills and power skating sessions to continue development.
Gold Medal Performance, the gym located on the 2nd level at Legacy20 Arena Middleton, will provide weekly hockey specific off-ice training.
